I sit here pondering over the breaking news of Glasgow Rangers and their lodging of papers aiming in the direction of Administration. It was an inevitable move that was more a question of ‘when’ as opposed to ‘if’. Even the most hardline Rangers fans have taken to the news with no sense of shock,surprise or horror. It would appear, judging by the furore on certain other websites and blogs that the Rangers Tax Case has resumed. I think anyone with half a brain these days realises that the tribunal is far more about ‘how liable’ Rangers are as opposed to ‘If they are liable’.
Naturally there are still some fantasists out there that have decided to disregard all the available information and are hedging their hopes on some miracle, American County Court style acquittal type result. But such is life.
